THE GUEST HOUSE UNDER CONSTRUCTION

You can cover a ton of history in 100 years!

February 28, 2017 Richard Cook

Hugh Barnett and I will talk with 5th. graders at Clayton-Bradley Academy in Maryville, Tennessee on Friday, March 3rd. We will talk about Oak Ridge during World War II. Hugh worked in Oak Ridge during the war.  He is 100 years old. Hugh will be on the next HonorAir flight out of Knoxville in April. He is excited about the trip.

If someone had come to MY 5th. grade class when I was in school, they would've been born in 1866! They could tell us stories they heard from their father, who might have fought in the Civil War. Amazing perspectives you can get from those ignored heroes of World War II.
